The opportunity to own one of Cornwall’s up and coming food vans has been reluctantly put up for grabs.
The Vood Bar, which frequented a range of Cornwall’s top events last year, could be yours after owner Danielle Clancy announced it was for sale.
The business has already achieved remarkable success and its kind-hearted owner also attracted a lot of praise after she tried to find a way to give homeless people ‘proper food’ (above video).
“With a very heavy heart I have decided to sell Vood Bar,” said Danielle, who has not surprisingly already received many offers.
“It has taken off so much quicker than I had ever expected.
It would be Vood not to ….
“I initially started the van as a side hobby, but I am getting completely overwhelmed with bookings. I just don’t have the time to put into Vood Bar that it really deserves because I work full time too.
Vood Bar is currently being advertised for £29,500 on the business’s Facebook page. Those interested should message the business directly before it is put on eBay in the near future.
“It has been a wonderful year”, continued Danielle. “I have made more friends over lunch than I ever thought possible.
“The van and I have been to some amazing events around Cornwall and Devon and have made some very special memories.
“But the sad time has come to part ways.”
Danielle, who has been showered with messages of support and congratulations for her entrepreneurial achievement, is selling much more than just a van.

“I have had seven wedding enquiries this month alone.
“If you’re looking for a business that is simple to run, has as much or little opportunity as you want to give it, is great if you love putting a smile on customers’ faces and being outdoors in beautiful Cornwall, this could be what you’re looking for.
“It has so much more potential than I have been able to give it, by maxing the larger events and festivals, taking advantage of the Penzance Promenade all year round and/or seeking more private events.
“The set up is brilliant for events. While other traders wrestle with their awnings and canopies, we just flip down our lid and drive off – much to the envy of others.”
Successful events for Vood Bar so far have been weddings, vegan/vegetarian events, food festivals, music festivals, school events and private catering.
Danielle is also offering to provide contact details for all connections and associates she has made, so the future buyer is ahead before they start.
“It just needs someone with vision and passion and time to continue building the brand and there’s a great, really simple and happy business waiting for you,” she said.
“It is really hard for me to let go, but I know it’s the right thing to do for the vegan community.
“I have had nine people interested in buying and three viewings booked already. I don’t think it’s going to be too long before Vood Bar has a new Miss/Mr Vood!”
