A holiday park has unveiled its latest £1.6 million development in time for the summer school holidays.
Parkdean Resorts has unveiled its latest development of 22 lakeside lodges at its White Acres Holiday Park near Newquay.
Surrounded by countryside views located opposite one of the park’s 13 fishing lakes, Nelson’s Meadow forms part of the company’s overall £4.5m investment at its eight parks throughout Cornwall.

The new lodges are now ready to welcome holidaymakers visiting the South East and are set to contribute to the park’s efforts in encouraging local tourism.

The firm said that 11 of the lodges are also available for holiday home ownership with prices starting from £139,995, attracting owners from both in and outside of the region.

Varying lodge types are available and all are double glazed, have central heating, and come fully furnished including integrated kitchen appliances.
White Acres offers an indoor heated swimming pool with spa bath, sauna and gym, 13 coarse fishing lakes for beginners and enthusiasts alike, Polkeris Bar Pizzeria and Grill and the Lakeside Club which hosts live family entertainment each evening.

There is also a convenience store, cafe and takeaway found onsite, as well as activities for children such as an outdoor adventure playground, under fives’ playground, soft play and kids’ clubs.
